Q: Are you registered with the NIC EIC?

a: Sure Facilities Ltd is an NIC EIC approved contractor, which is widely recognised as the highest accreditation for an electrical contractor to achieve.

Q: Are you registered with C.H.A.S?

a: Yes we have our C.H.A.S accreditation.

Q: Do your engineers have required CRB checks?

a: Yes all our engineers have enhanced disclosure.

Q: Which areas do you cover?

a:We are based in Greater Manchester with the bulk of our business being regional. However, we do have customers that are nationally based.

Q: Who should have a Test Inspection?

a: All domestic dwellings require an electrical inspection certificate for home, landlords insurance purposes. All commercial, industrial premises require electrical inspection certificates in order to comply with health and insurance.

Q: Is an Electrical Inspection different from P.A.T testing?

a: Yes.

Q: What is an Electrical Inspection?

a: An "Electrical Inspectio" reports on the condition of the fixed wiring, method of installation and general condition of the electrical equipment and accessories.

Q: What is P.A.T Testing?

a: A "P.A.T Test" states the condition of a portable appliance ie: Kettle, Computer or Extention lead. Generally speaking most portable equipment requiresa test every 12 months. However, a minority of equipment rquires testing less or more frequently depending on the type and use of appliance.
